At Edith & Kiveen we know that jewellery can hold powerful and enduring significance and memories. Our bespoke design service aims to create new pieces that do the same, but we know that there are also cherished items which our customers may no longer wear, or are presented in a style no longer to their taste, but which still hold precious meaning.
With this in mind, we are delighted to work with you to remodel treasured items, either into a completely new design or to find ways to re-use stones and update the existing piece of jewellery to your taste. For instance, a broach can become a fabulous necklace or cuff and cufflinks can become earrings.
We have deep knowledge and love of antique jewellery and an extensive network of specialists in this field as well as gemmologists and stone suppliers. This enables us to offer a sourcing service, finding unique and original pieces to your individual requirements, as well as stones for new pieces. We’ll guide you through the entire process or you can just give us a mission: a piece with no diamonds, a suffragette piece and roman piece are all items we have sourced in the past. We will ensure that your needs are met, your understanding of stones and jewellery enhanced and your expectations surpassed.
The consultation and process for these offers is similar in approach to our bespoke design process, with all costs and timescales agreed explicitly at the outset.
If you would like to discuss with the Edith & Kiveen team our re-use of antique jewellery and gemstones, or our approach to sourcing gemstones, we’d be delighted to hear from you. Please contact us for more information.
